NOLA ON TAP 2023

SATURDAY MARCH 18TH, 2023 • Lafreniere Park

Space for 30 homebrew tents, with more upon approval.

SETUP / EQUIPMENT
Setup will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on March 18th. We will help guide spaces where tents will be setup. We will be providing each booth one 8 foot table and ice, and hopefully water. VIP and Early Entrance will happen at 2PM, full festival starts at 3:00PM and will end at 7:00PM.
Setup will be in a large arch around the island, see photo below.
Please provide any and all equipment you might need, not included to tent, additional tables, chairs, beer, dispensing equipment, decorations etc. There will be a best booth competition, so get creative!
If you do not have a tent, 10×10 tents will be available to rent for $250.
Each homebrewer and patron with a ticket will receive their own wristband and Fest Cup. There will be no tickets or digital scanning per beer this year. Similar to Brewstock Fest, your cup gets you unlimited sampling.

Awards!
We will be announcing people’s choice best beer, best decorated booth, and BJCP competition winner, I assume on a main stage at the festival. We are currently gathering sponsors and prizes.

PACKUP / LOADOUT
The festival will end ~7:00PM. We ask that after the awards you help clear any trash and debris in your vicinity, pour your remaining beer, and pack it all up.

BJCP Competition

REGISTRATION
Competition registration is open beginning December 12th.

The last day to drop off or mail in beer is March 10th, we will not accept beers on March 11th.

We will be accepting all beer styles from the 2021 BJCP Style Guideline.

ENTRY COSTS
Registration will be $8 per beer, fees may be paid when you submit your beer.

BEER COLLECTION
Beers will be accepted in person or via shipment to Brewstock 1300 S Broad Ave STE A NOLA 70125.
Entries will be accepted any time between December 12th and March 10th.
Please submit at least 3 bottles of beer, with each bottle being at least 12 fl oz of beer.
Please make sure all bottles are blank and have a non identifying cap or closure.

JUDGING
This will be an officially sanctioned BJCP competition.

All BJCP styles are welcome.

We will be using the modified Brewstock/BJCP sheets, see below.

Judging will take place on March 12th.

All beers will get judged and receive a score out of 50.

Any beer that scores a 40 or higher will advance into the Finals / Best In Show Round.

Best in Show beers will be brought to NOLA On Tap and be judged again on March 18th, where we will announce the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
